Bankruptcy Paralegal - Las Vegas, United States - The Law Offices of Erik Severino

We are in search of a highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our expanding bankruptcy team. Previous experience in preparing and filing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions as well as post-petition activities is a significant advantage (minimum 3 years or 300 cases). Proficiency in managing bankruptcy dockets is also beneficial.

Compensation:

$45,000 - $80,000 annually based on expertise

Responsibilities:

• Collect information about legal matters through client interviews
• Handle administrative tasks like answering calls and maintaining an organized case filing system, ensuring all documents are easily accessible
• Oversee Chapter 7 Bankruptcy cases from filing to post-discharge
• Manage Chapter 13 Bankruptcy cases from filing to post-discharge
• Prepare clients for 341 meetings
• Conduct document reviews and ensure timely submissions
• Review bankruptcy notices, motions, objections, and pleadings
• Collaborate effectively with the assigned case attorney
• Thoroughly examine each case for potential issues and strategize solutions such as refiles, conversions, or modifications
• Perform other case-specific duties including reaffirmations, modifications, dismissals, and legal research
