    Job Summary:


    The Luggage Porter - Guest Services is responsible for ensuring a warm and efficient arrival and departure experience for all guests.

    They will be expected to greet guests upon arrival, explain arrival procedures, escort guests to reception, explain valet procedures and provide directions.

    Additionally, the Luggage Porter will be responsible for handling luggage at the front door, as well as transporting luggage to and from guestrooms.

    They may also be required to chauffeur guests in the house car, deliver newspapers and gifts, and assist with maintaining cleanliness in work areas.


    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced environment
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Knowledge of local area attractions and amenities is an asset
    • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet guests upon arrival, explaining arrival procedures and providing a warm welcome
    • Escort guests to reception, assisting with checkin procedures as required
    • Explain valet procedures and provide directions to parking facilities
    • Handle luggage at the front door, ensuring safe and efficient transport to guestrooms
    • Transport luggage to and from guestrooms, ensuring timely delivery and pickup
    • Chauffeur guests in the house car as requested, following established procedures and protocols
    • Deliver newspapers and gifts to guestrooms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
    • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in work areas, including storage areas and vehicles
    • Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and addressing guests' needs promptly and professionally
    • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures
