Are you interested in being part of the electric vehicle revolution? Are you looking for a challenging sales role where you can learn, develop, and contribute every day in a huge way? Do you have a track record of success in complex sales environments?

If so, then the Inside Sales Associate role at Orange EV could be the right role for you

We are a leader in the pure electric heavy-duty electric truck industry, having sold more heavy-duty electric trucks than all our competitors combined.

We're growing rapidly and expanding our team to help take the business to the next level.

We're passionate about our mission to improve the environment and know that our best path to get there is to deliver an electric heavy-duty truck that is better than diesel alternatives in every way: cost, performance, safety, up-time, and driver satisfaction.

Come join our team and make a difference for our customers and our company, and help revolutionize an entire industry

    Job Description:

Focus will be on prospecting and identifying new customers who could benefit from using our vehicles instead of the diesel versions they currently use, qualifying them, then passing viable leads to Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).

Typical duties will include a significant amount of daily outreach to potential customers via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other means.

You will also play a role in managing and vetting inbound leads that come from marketing campaigns, word of mouth, and other broader outreach efforts.

    Core Responsibilities include the following:
Contact potential customers via phone/email/chat to gauge interest and fit for our trucks.
Be the initial point of contact for potential customers.
Obtain pertinent information from potential customers in order to qualify needs.
Utilize CRM to maintain a database of potential customers and document and update customer records based on interactions.
Research potential customers using tools like ZoomInfo and others to create prospecting lists, manage outreach and schedule initial meetings.
Attend initial handoff meeting with RSMs.
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving product and industry.
Perform other sales support and business development duties as needed and as opportunities arise.

    Required Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales professional with qualifications that include:

Ability to deliver high standards of customer service and build rapport with clients.
Positive and professional demeanor on the phone.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to prioritize and multitask.
    Diligent follow-up skills.
    Experience with Microsoft Office.
    Prior success in sales.

    Preferred Experience:
Experience with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce.
Prior experience in an inside sales environment is highly preferred.

Role will be based full-time in our Kansas City, KS office (not a remote role).
