    Dover Precision Components is hiring a Supplier Quality Inspector for our FW Murphy Production Controls business, located in Rosenberg, TX. We manufacture and deliver a wide range of instrumentation and control solutions for the Oil & Gas Production and Natural Gas Compression markets. Our products improve the protection, performance, and reliability of the Natural Gas Supply Chain while protecting our environment and creating systems and equipment to help producers stay in compliance and meet stringent emission regulations.

    Join our continuous improvement and innovative team in this salaried position with paid overtime This role supports 1st Shift, starting around 6:30am and often ending by 3pm.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Develop, implement, and maintain metrics that track trends in supplier quality performance.
    • Perform supplier quality system audits on potential and existing suppliers and coordinate assessment and/or corrective action plans with the Global Sourcing organization.
    • Drive suppliers to be in support of ISO 9001.
    • Execute NCR process from issuance to close.
    • Ensure the production readiness of suppliers during new product launches and during component resourcing efforts through the validation of supplier process capability and understanding of design intent (GD&T) / drawing requirements and inspection methods.
    • Provide production with consistent and timely support for assembly parts for all product lines.
    • Provide constant communication with the supply chain team, suppliers, assembly leads, and management for issues concerning parts/suppliers.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

    • 2+ years' experience in quality role(s) in a continuous improvement manufacturing environment.
    • Working knowledge of ISO 9001.
    • Experience in NCR process and documentation.
    • Experience with calibration standards and quality tools and equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
    • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Including but not limited to key dimensions, finishes, and machine tolerances.
    • Familiarity with supply chain/material handling and engineering systems, such as JDE and/or AutoCAD/Autodesk.
