Job Summary
The Emergency Preparedness Program Manager - Compliance, Documentation and After-Action Reporting role works collaboratively as well as independently as a team member to create develop implement the Avangrid emergency management preparedness functions including UI CMP NYSEG RGE for electric natural gas Southern Connecticut Gas Connecticut Natural Gas Maine Natural Gas Berkshire Gas AVANGRID hydro operations This applies to both planning preparation before an event execution during an event main duties include lead the emergency preparedness groups Compliance Documentation After-Action Reporting programs ensure effective analysis new requirement development project plans compliance evidence demonstrate adherence existing new requirements work key leaders stakeholders across company on key issues new projects collection evidence information needed proper documentation reporting responsible programmatic in-event compliance checklists monitoring reporting requirements manage After Action Reporting working Emergency Operations staff quality timely After-Action Reports significant events works Corrective Action Tracking Program Manager transition corrective actions AARs tracked completion lead emergency planning projects creation preparation appropriate plans procedures SOPs checklists storms emergencies other risks hazards prepare monitor compliance creating systems continuous improvement reports causes events damages affected customers restoration times recovery plan costs support department documentation record keeping systems supports Rate Cases needed work member team ensuring appropriate training drills exercises responds emergencies supporting operating company Area Incident Command System modify update detailed action plans lessons learned play critical role creation development implementation Avangrid emergency management preparedness planning responsibilities include pre post response activities established ICS structure continue manage conduct operations actual event responsible driving strategy continuous improvement execution emergency preparedness operations activities develops effective policies procedures ensure preparedness future events ensures internal alignment internal external stakeholders timely information sharing coordination communication reporting works team player support all areas emergency management readiness may serve Avangrid representative governmental regulatory entities build relationship cooperate projects foster best practices provides strategic input management team business areas sound analytical decision making ability effectively use Microsoft word excel PowerPoint skills learn company-based tools necessary support
