Birmingham, Alabama 7 North is a new 23-bed dedicated cardiology unit comprising 15 telemetry beds and 8 intermediate care beds.
Brand-new space with new equipment and nice finishes. We care for patients admitted with a primary cardiac admitting diagnosis. We specialize in the care of cardiac inpatients, post-procedural patients and cardiac telemetry patients. We have an interdisciplinary approach, working closely with our hospitalists and cardiology team. Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols ofthe healthcare organization.
Implement and monitor patient care plans. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
