    Slip Robotics, a rapidly growing robotics company specializing in industrial-size robots for truck loading and unloading, is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a highly skilled individual with at least 8 years of industrial engineering experience, specifically focusing on assembly line optimization for large-scale equipment.

    Job Description

    As a Staff Industrial Engineer at Slip Robotics, you will play a key role in developing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality control. Your responsibilities will include conducting time and motion studies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading continuous improvement projects. We encourage applicants with a strong background in industrial engineering, a passion for robotics, and a proven track record in creating and optimizing assembly lines to apply.

    Responsibilities
    • Design and optimize assembly lines for industrial-sized intelligent robots
    • Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality control
    • Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflows
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve assembly issues
    • Create and maintain documentation for assembly processes
    • Lead continuous improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce costs
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
    Other Information

    Slip Robotics is located in Atlanta, GA, just northeast of the perimeter. This position requires a majority of on-site work.

    Requirements

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
    • Minimum of 8 years of industrial engineering experience, focusing on assembly line optimization for large-scale intelligent robots
    • Automotive manufacturing and assembly experience is preferred
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices
    • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
