- Define the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.
- Ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance and materials/components in support of production targets.
- Support Production with product and system testing.
- Prepare new test standards and completes test instruction documentation
- Utilize Lean 6Sigma methodologies to identify and recommend improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and cost requirements
- Ensure the production process complies with the project targets.
- Approve the design for processes developed internally or externally and perform final tests with respect to the project
- Provide support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources
- Evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Industrial Engineering is strongly preferred OR Associate degree PLUS 3 years of technical based experience, preferably in electrical control systems manufacturing or maintenance
- Knowledge of Lean principles
- Knowledge of Automatic Transfer Switches is a plus
- Programming knowledge a plus

As a Production Development Specialist, you will drive improvements in production of Electrification Smart Power (ELSP) in Senatobia, Mississippi.
