    What Youll Do:

    We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Total Rewards to join our dynamic human resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive total rewards strategies that align with our organizational goals and ensure the attraction and retention of top talent. The Director of Total Rewards will play a key role in maintaining our competitive position in the industry by providing effective and attractive compensation, benefits, and recognition programs for our employees.

    This role reports to the CHRO and will have 2-3 direct reports.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy that supports OmniCables business objectives and overall employee engagement strategy.
    • Analyze industry trends and benchmarks to ensure that the company's total rewards offerings remain competitive and in line with best practices.
    • Lead the design, development, and administration of competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity. Compensation programs include and are not limited to: insides and outside sales and sales leadership compensation programs, corporate incentive programs, industrial, hourly compensation strategies, and executive compensation programs.
    • Oversee the management of all aspects of the employee benefits program, including health, wellness, retirement, and other related benefits, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee the management of the payroll and HRIS system and team to optimize data integrity, reporting and analytical capabilities.
    • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and maintain effective communication strategies that educate and engage employees about their total rewards package and its value.
    • Provide guidance and support to senior management and HR partners on compensation-related matters, including job evaluation, salary structure, and incentive programs.
    • Develop and manage the annual total rewards budget, ensuring effective cost management and resource allocation.
    • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing total rewards programs and HRIS processes and make recommendations for enhancements or modifications as needed.
    • Stay abreast of changes in legislation and regulations related to compensation, benefits, and HRIS, ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Lead a team of total rewards and HRIS professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster their professional development and ensure the effective execution of departmental objectives.

    Work Experience

    What Youll Need:

    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in total rewards management, preferably in a distribution or related industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) is a plus.
    • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive total rewards programs, including compensation (executive, sales, and corporate compensation), benefits, and recognition initiatives.
    • Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in total rewards, with the ability to translate industry knowledge into effective strategies for the organization.
    • Proven experience in managing and implementing complex compensation and benefits programs, including experience with job evaluation, salary structure design, and incentive plan development.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to make informed decisions and recommendations.
    • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits, with a strong commitment to ensuring compliance within the organization.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team of total rewards professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability.
