    What You Will Do

    The Corporate Development Strategy & Intelligence team in the Samsung Semiconductor Innovation Center drives mid to long-term growth strategy and value creation for Samsung Semiconductor including M&A, venture investments, and partnerships. Our sectors of interest span all aspects of semiconductors (memory, logic, and foundry) as well as end markets (data center and cloud, networking, 5G, automotive, mobile, and IoT). We are looking for a Director/Senior Director to join our team.

    Location: Onsite at our San Jose office 5 days a week.

    • Lead new opportunity exploration and strategy/investment thesis development projects.
    • Develop breakthrough strategy recommendations to drive value creation.
    • Perform transaction and market analyses, including triangulating data from 3 rd -party sources.
    • Support M&A and partnership transactions, and venture investments.
    • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations.

    What You Bring

    • Bachelors and 25 years of experience, or an MS/MBA and 23 years of experience, or a PhD and 20 years of experience preferred.
    • Bachelor's in STEM fields with 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience, with at least 3 years in corporate strategy or development, or 5 years in business planning / product management. Previous technical experience is a plus.
    • MBA or M.S. from a top school preferred.
    • Exceptional strategist and out of the box thinker.

    Base Pay Range

    $229,163 — $400,838 USD
