Supported Education and Employment (SEE) Specialist - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
The New Journeys Supported Education and Employment (SEE) Specialist and Care Coordinator position provides a range of community based vocational, educational, and case management supports to transition age youth/adults experiencing a first episode of psychosis within Thurston and Mason County.
A potential candidate for this position should have prior experience as a supported education specialist, supported employment specialist, vocational specialist, and/or an intensive case manager.
Because of the nature of this job, SEE Specialists need to work directly in the community with employers, potential employers, and educational personnel.
They connect with community partners and spend the majority of their time out of the office providing direct services to clients.
Compensation:
$24.27- $32.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
BHR offers an exceptional benefits package with 100% paid medical, dental, vision, long term disability and basic life insurance for the employee, $1,000 sign-on bonus, 5% contribution to a 403b retirement plan after one year of employment, 10 paid holidays plus 2 personal holidays per year, a generous paid time off policy of 10 hours per month and 8 hours of sick leave per month, education funds, reimbursement of credentialing expenditures, and a student loan repayment program.
BHR is also a preapproved site for the WSAC Washington Health Corps Loan Repayment program - applicants may be eligible for up to $75,000 in loan repayment over the course of three years.
In addition, BHR is an eligible employer for the Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness program.*BHR has approved supervisors for all Licensure tracks (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, and SUDP) and licensure supervision can be provided on a weekly basis.
One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities or one year of human service related experience addressing issues such as economic disadvantages, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging, disabilities, prevention, health, cultural competencies, or housing preferred.
Knowledge and experience with community support model preferred.Familiarity with child and adult service systems and a collaborative community treatment approach preferred.
Must have valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance.
While no longer required, as a health care provider BHR highly recommends applicants and employees are fully vaccinated against Covid.
