    SORTER II (WAREHOUSE CLOTHING SORTER) ** WEEKENDS ONLY**

    Shift Days: Saturday & Sunday
    Shift Timings:07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
    Payrate:$15.30 per hour

    The Rescue Mission is currently seeking part-time sorters for our warehouse. This position is responsible for sorting donated merchandise to find those great values that we can sell at our Thrifty Shopper stores. We need candidates that can work independently with good judgment. They will be sorting clothing and merchandise while determining suitability for resale in our Thrifty Shopper stores.

    Education & Experience Requirements:
    • High school diploma or GED preferred
    • 1-3 years experience in a production warehouse or retail setting
    • Knowledge of all operations of productions: clothing, bric/brac, secondary, etc.

    Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities Needed to Perform Effectively in this Position:
    • Willingness to continue to learn new skills as needed
    • Ability to work in a changing environment – flexible to new assignments
    • Organization/time management skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
    • Passion for the mission and vision of the organization

    Additional Requirements:
    • Job requires lifting and bending
    • Job requires standing for long hours
    • Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
    • Cleaning is required
