    **Team Leader- Full Time**

    ROC Transitions are looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to supervise a small staffing team and oversee up to 3 Transitions houses.

    **Hours:** 40 hours per week. The home is staffed up to 17hrs a day; shifts, including 8 sleepovers will be worked as part of a rota and may include days, evenings, sleepovers, waking nights and Bank Holidays.

    **The Role:** Is to support the Operations Manager in providing a high quality, safe, nurturing and caring home which has high aspirations for young people. Youll help with the day to day needs and activities of the young people whilst providing them with life skills and great memories

    ROC Transitions offer a unique and tailor-made service by providing accommodation and support to young people between 16-18 years old with Emotional and Behavioural challenges; supporting them to live independently and transition into adult life.

    ROC Transitions focus on:

    Supporting young people to achieve outcomes using a person centred focus

    Providing tailored semi independent supported living accommodation.

    Offering bespoke packages of care for young people aged 16 18 years old of both sexes who are in the transition of leaving care into independent living.

    Preparing the young people for their life ahead, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive; providing support around: training, education, budgeting, cooking, meal planning on a budget and household chores in addition to supporting young people with transportation to appointments.

    Support being offered includes sleep in staff and 1:1 staff support.

    Providing telephone support 24hrs per day, even outside of support times.

    The practices at ROC Transitions are inclusive and help young people to develop both in terms of life skills and emotional and mental resilience, to a point where they can manage living independently without our support. Our goal is for the young people to graduate to having their own tenancy and thrive when they transition to independence. ROC Transitions is more than just a place to live, it is a stepping stone to a young person securing their own home and fulfilling their potential in whatever they choose to do.

    **Rate of Pay:** 27,000 to 30,000 per year depending on experience and qualification.

    **Essential requirements:**

    A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent

    A Level 5 in Leadership and Management or be willing to work towards

    A driving licence and access to a vehicle.

    Previous experience of working with young people.

    Flexibility due to the nature of the working patterns
