    Position Summary

    The Director of Master Data Management at Wellful plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of data governance processes within the Wellful organization. This role collaborates closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders across the organization to create and facilitate data stewardship, maintain documentation, and coordinate ERP-related activities. This position is a hybrid remote position, meaning physical presence in the workplace is required at least (3) days per work week. Employees in this position must meet and adhere to the requirements set forth in the Company's Hybrid Work Policy.

    Essential Functions

    • Establish centralized, cross functional Master Data Management (MDM) & governance capabilities across business units. Define and implement the MDM roadmap.
    • Provide day to day master data management production support to operational, finance and technology teams to ensure seamless process execution with a goal towards reduction of production issues due to Master Data Management.
    • Provide thought leadership in developing in-house MDM technology solutions across all divisions and undertake efforts to unify MDM practices.
    • Take the lead in spearheading the master data impact of process re-engineering or new process implementation in Oracle and communicate the impact to business users.
    • Independently develop MDM templates for existing and new Oracle processes with minimal support from technology team.
    • Lead MDM efforts for master data refresh and readiness in all lower, UAT and production environments, implementing multiple refreshes based on the timelines defined by project management team for all strategic projects.
    • Establish cross-functional collaboration & communication, across business units and serve as bridge between different business units, Ops & IT departments, and data stakeholders to ensure alignment and cooperation in managing master data. This includes organizing regular meetings, workshops, and communication channels to foster partnership.
    • Prioritize, coordinate, and execute change requests of master data as required by the business.
    • Drive master data initiatives and projects to implement new procedures and policies to streamline processes.
    • Recommend and execute continuous improvement of master data management processes.
    • Monitor all newly created / updated master data records for accuracy and completeness.
    • Partner with IT on communicating requirements and business test case scenarios, collaborate and resolve business side issues identified at various stages of systems development.
    • In conjunction with IT, provide progress reports to Executive management and oversee periodic updates to the Data Governance Roadmap
    • Occasional out-of-state travel for meetings or events that occur outside of an employee's scheduled office days and in which the Company determines, in its sole discretion, that in-person attendance is required.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
    • Deep experience and business / data / systems subject matter expertise.
    • Experience in process manufacturing environment.
    • MDM experience is required with Oracle or any major ERP with at least 2 major ERP implementations.

    • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word)
    • Highly Productive – Throughput oriented and outcome focused; can manage decision pipeline to meet SLA commitments.

    • Strong understanding of data, metadata, and impacts of changes.

    • Ability and willingness to uphold standards at all levels; ability to push back and / or escalate.
    • Effective collaboration, change management, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively across the enterprise – business unit, function, and IT – to solve strategic decisions.
