    Job Description

    Planning analyst is responsible for planning ownership of a supply chain link. Responsibilities may include development, integration, optimization, coordination, communication and driving execution of engineering/production planning schedules, forecasts, materials, build plan & capacity requirements, and business and inventory strategies to meet business and customer requirements in collaboration with cross organizational supply chain stakeholders. May also conducts scenario (what-if) planning for engineering, products, processes, and inventory strategies when necessary. Influencing/recommending issue resolution strategies in supply chain areas using data driven decision making across appropriate Key Stakeholder and Management levels. Drives continuous process/project improvements. An individual contributor role developing supply chain strategies that support the organizations strategic vision.

    Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Supply Chain Technical Analysts are responsible for Solidigms Supply and Product Build Plans. Primarily, they manage products within the supply chain network that produces Solid State Drives for Solidigm.
    • The scope includes managing supply to meet customer demand; work closely with cross functional teams to develop build plan strategies and manage the execution through the factory network.
    • Applies mathematics, statistics, advanced analytics and optimization modeling to find patterns and relationships in data to help optimize inventory, material, and create supply strategies.
    • They form close partnerships with Business Operations, Manufacturing partners, Component and Material teams.
    • Perform supply-demand analysis and highlight gaps and recovery plans as necessary. Strong commitment to making and meeting customer requirements while balancing inventory, revenue targets and cost.
    • Work on process improvement projects to make planning more efficient and leaner.

    Qualifications

    • The candidate must possess a BS degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in the following:
    • Supply Chain Planning such as inventory tracking, product planning, or other business operations related positions.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Requires in depth knowledge of supply chain management and a Degree in a specialized or intellectual field of study such as engineering, computer science or a related field.
    • Experience with project management, organization, analytical supply/demand analysis
    • Knowledge in Excel
    • Knowledge of SAP, Tableau and/or other Planning/MRP system

    Salary Range: $74,110 - $116,690
