- Responsible for overseeing Accounting Operations change management, including, but not limited to, systems implementation and integration, merging data from different systems, and establishing and maintaining effective standard operating procedures (SOPs) in existing and new jurisdictions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Corporate accounting/management functions and regional Operations teams.
- Partner with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data.
- Assist with the setup of applicable software and systems at customer locations.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting and accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Keep up to date with regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting and compliance.
- Perform required recordkeeping and prepare financial reports as requested.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience working in a growing organization with a multi-jurisdictional presence.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong change management skills.
- 5+ years accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of using system data to improve processes.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills (i.e. NetSuite).

The Accounting Operations Manager will undertake all aspects of financial location reporting for our operations, including working with the Corporate accounting team, regulatory and financial reporting team, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
