    Job Title: BC/BE Physician - Hematology/Oncology

    Location: SW Georgia

    Description:

    We are seeking a skilled physician to join our thriving hematology/oncology practice in Southwestern Georgia. As a consultant, you will work closely with hospitalists on daily admissions and have the opportunity to participate in multiple pharma and cooperative group trials on site.

    Responsibilities:

    • Consultant role with daily admissions by hospitalists
    • Average 3-5 inpatients per day, 12 on weekends
    • 12-15 patient visits per day in the office
    • Outpatient office and chemotherapy services at two local community outreach sites
    • Participate in multiple pharma and cooperative group trials
    • All procedures done by Interventional radiology, including bone marrow biopsies and IT chemotherapy
    • Collaborate with two Nurse Practitioners for patient care and supervision
    • Work closely with Radiation Oncology for conventional radiotherapy, stereotactic beam radiotherapy, and gamma knife radiotherapy
    • Adequate support staff, including dietitians, social workers, and patient navigators

    Requirements:

    • BC/BE certification in Hematology/Oncology
    • Candidates should be highly valued for their collegial working environment and strong communication skills

    Salary: Competitive salary with potential for annual bonus, estimated at $250,000 - $300,000 annually based on experience and qualifications
