- Active participation in the monthly and quarterly closing process, including journal entry preparation, analysis, and account reconciliation review
- Point of Contact for the Americas region
- Local Admin of Blackline System for Consolidations Department
- Reconciliation of GEMS legal entities
- Reconciliation of intercompany activity
- Prepare various quarterly financial statement analyses of consolidated financial statements required by SEC reporting department in support of Otis' quarterly 10-Q/K filing
- Assist in the preparation of footnote data required for Otis' quarterly and annual 10-Q/K filings
- Prepare various account analysis in support of internal and external reporting requirements
- Support the Financial Reporting department's initiative of continuous process improvement including identification of opportunities and implementation of solutions
- Special projects as requested.
- Bachelor's degree required, accounting preferred.
- 5-7 years of experie
- Strong analytical and accounting skills
- Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience preferred
- Good written and verbal communication
- This position provides exposure to US GAAP and accordingly the successful candidate will gain a strong knowledge of financial reporting issues from a US GAAP perspective.
