    ** Overview**
    Join our dynamic finance team as a Staff Accountant and play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational excellence. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work across various accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial analysis, and regulatory reporting. You will be instrumental in supporting our organization's financial health by applying your expertise in accounting principles, software tools, and regulatory standards.

    Duties

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
    • Conduct account reconciliations including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers such as accounts receivable and payable.
    • Manage journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and accrual accounting processes to ensure accurate financial data.
    • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliation and financial report writing.
    • Perform detailed financial analysis and cash flow analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
    • Support accounts payable and receivable functions ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

    ** Requirements**

    • Accounting degree preferred but not required
    • Hands-on experience with Quickbooks online
    • A great positive attitude
    • Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for clear financial report writing and interpretation.
