- Attend pre-booking meetings to gain knowledge of the sales estimate and project scope.
- Analyze plans, specifications, and contract details to determine system requirements.
- Monitor and control project finances including invoicing, developing change orders, generating re-estimates, and monthly controlling meetings.
- Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team.
- Identify time-sensitive installation needs and coordinate work with subcontractors.
- Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects and track resources and project progress.
- Troubleshoot issues, including identifying and debugging software, and diagnosing electrical or pneumatic installation problems.
- Organize and maintain job documentation.
- Provide on-site assistance with or perform programming, start-up, checkout, commissioning, and validation processes.
- Participate in job site final walk-through, complete all job closeout documentation, and provide customer training.
- Act as technical resource to customers and field employees.
- Experience in the installation and/or maintenance of Building Automation systems (HVAC) or technical experience in construction, elevator, electrical/mechanical, lighting, or related industries
- Be able to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- Must be able to pass background check per customer-specific requirements
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
- 3+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of Building Automation systems (HVAC) or technical experience in construction, elevator, electrical/mechanical, lighting, or related industries
- 3+ years of project management experience in direct support of Building Automation systems (HVAC), construction, elevator, electrical/mechanical, lighting, or related industries
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
