- Perform preventive and therapeutic treatment and instruction of General Dentistry patients in oral self-care techniques
- Deliver appropriate, efficient and effective patient-centered treatment
- Provide patient education
- Recognize the need for further professional consultation and possible referral
- Conduct administrative/operational tasks
- Instruct and demonstrate clinical procedures to students
- NYS Registered Dental Hygienist License
- BLS / CPR certification by time of hire
- Excellent communication skills, experience working with diverse populations, and attention to detail
- At least five years of experience
- Experience with hybrids and implants
