    Shifts:
    7am-5pDays: Monday thru FridayWeekends: noneLocation: 104 J V Mangubat, Waynesboro, TN 38485Compensation: $12.00 per hourPurpose of PositionThe primary purpose of your job position is to performthe day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with currentfederal, state, and local standards and regulations

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed.
    • Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor.
    • Perform routine cleaning assignments in residentliving and/or recreational areas.
    • Attend departmental and staff meetings.
    Staff Development

    • Attend and participate in in-service educationalclasses and on-the-job training programs.
    • Follow established safety policies and procedures.
    • Wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies.
    • Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in aclean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner.
    • Follow proper techniques when mixing chemicals,disinfectants, and solutions used for cleaning.
    • Ensure that established infection control anduniversal precautions practices are maintained when performing housekeeping procedures.
    • Follow established handwashing procedures.
    • Dispose of refuse daily in accordance with our establishedsanitation procedures.
    • Ensure that an adequate supply of housekeepingsupplies to perform daily tasks is maintained in utility/janitorial closets.
    EducationPrefer a 8th grade education at a minimum. We are alsowilling to teach and train. Experience- Experience as a floor tech preferred but not required. Specific Requirements

    • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents,family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
    • Maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment,etc., and maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas, must perform regular inspectionsof resident rooms/units for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance ofassigned duties.
