Job Description

The Food Service Specialist assists in ordering, planning, preparing, and serving food to maintain quality food service for MCHS in accordance with health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.

• Prepares and serves food to ensure acceptable food products and service.
• Participates in determining inventory needs and orders food and supplies.
• Maintains daily records and prepares related reports.
• Coordinates special activities and dinners for the food service program.

Education and Experience

• At least one year of related work experience in food service production and inventory maintenance preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
