To learn more about CIBC, please visitClient Services Specialist (Private Wealth) provides critical administrative support to our Business Development Team including preparation of prospect and client marketing materials and assists Client Service Team with account opening activities.
This role will interact with Client Service and Business Development Teams learning the wealth business. The candidate will be willing to learn many aspects of business using their listening, communication, and analytical skills.Specific responsibilities include:
Provide general administrative support to Business Development Team.
Prepare prospect and client marketing materials, presentations, and RFPs.
Support new business activities in the market.
Book travel arrangements.
Maintain and track expenses, complete expense reports.
Run reports and overviews for key meetings.
Plan and coordinate internal and external meetings.
Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner; route calls to the appropriate parties; and conduct necessary follow up.
Open new accounts and sub-accounts for Client Service Team. Prepare and process new account paperwork.Provide support for special projects.
Achieve and sustain a balanced approach to managing risk by ensuring compliance controls and processes (regulatory, compliance, fiduciary) are integrated into day-to-day activities.
Contribute to a strong organizational culture through positive, collaborative behaviors resulting in client and employee engagement.Pursue continuous improvement and be a problem solver by anticipating obstacles, developing plans to overcome and looking for ways to improve.
Knowledge and SkillsBachelor's degree preferred.
Strong client service commitment.
Understanding of wealth management a plus.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to use these skills to communicate with high-net-worth clients and colleagues.
Strong organizational skills sufficient to complete work according to established schedule and timeframes, while accommodating given priorities.Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat.
