1st Shift Titan 6:00am-2:30pm Maintenance
An associate supervisor is a member of the Plants Management Team. The position is an hourly, non exempt position. Associate supervisors are expected to participate, and support management directed activities.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:**
Guide and direct the efforts of the maintenance team in the deployment of their duties.
The supervisor will teach and instruct the team in the proper practices of doing their jobs and follow a safety-first approach.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Lead/ coach teams of tradesmen in performing repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment in the plant.
Lead by example of all the safety rules pertaining in the workplace and provide a safe workplace for all team members.
Must be able to handle the shift while his supervisor is out of the plant. This includes all radio calls, time and attendance, handling the work order system, shift notes all daily paperwork to include vacations, RCCMs, stop cards and daily check sheets.
Make recommendations concerning discipline of a team member to his supervisor when he returns but, first he must see the Maintenance Manager.
**Minimum Qualification**
**QUALIFICATIONS AND BASIC SKILLS:**
Must have a minimum of 8 years documented experience in the maintenance field.
Must have at least a high school diploma
Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing in the English language.
Must be able to work shift and overtime when called upon.
Must have the ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Must have some basic skills working with Microsoft office and Lotus notes.
Must be able to work out of an articulation boom or scissor lift up to 50 feet in the air.
Must be able to do simple math add, subtract, multiply, divide and percentages.
Must have a good understanding of lock out tag out procedure and will ensure all people will comply with Plant Policy.
Must be skilled in electrical, mechanical, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics and safety and have hands on practical experience. (See skill matrix). Must be >80% on skill matrix categories.
