Position Summary:

The Cook prepares food which is nutritious and appetizing in accordance with requirements of the Food Production Manager.
Responsible for preparing meals for patients on both regular and modified diets. Also, food items for the cafeteria.
Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all foods prepared and returned.
Ensuring Health standards are followed, along with strict safety standards under Johns Hopkins expectations

Experience:

HS diploma, or equivalent, required
Culinary training (graduate of a culinary or technical school) preferred
1 year related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items, and therapeutic diets.
Experience cooking in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Or, experience cooking in an institutional setting

Hours/Other Information:
