- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited institution.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of 10 years with a Master's degree.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating with technical teams.
- Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is advantageous.
- Experience in VHDL/FPGA design practices and tools.
- Familiarity with radar systems, electronic warfare (EW), Digital Signal Processing (DSP), SIGINT.
- Skill in TMAP and/or ITASE modeling is a bonus.

Leidos Defense Systems, a subsidiary of Leidos, is looking for a skilled Senior Computer Engineer to join their team in developing innovative solutions for complex challenges. With locations throughout the United States focusing on defense, space, cyber, and commercial sectors, Dynetics offers efficient and responsive engineering, IT, and scientific solutions.
At LDS' Dayton Office, they are in search of Computer Engineers with a background in the scientific design and computational analysis of electronic warfare systems, radars, missile & aircraft systems, or RF/EO/IR sensors. The ideal candidate will leverage strong technical capabilities and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a team of engineers and scientists in tackling intricate technical issues related to complex systems. Responsibilities will include performing technical tasks and providing management support across various projects.
This role primarily supports the Scientific and Technical Intelligence community (NASIC, MSIC, NGIC, ONI) and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Sensors Directorate. The position calls for a diverse skill set in technical expertise and task management, offering an opportunity to make immediate contributions to significant projects.
