    Job Requirements

    Minimum 1 year of hospital experience as a Radiology Technologist (hospital imaging services / acute care radiology)

    Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification (ARRT certified radiologic technologist)

    Active Florida Radiologic Technologist license

    Current BLS certification

    Proficiency with GE imaging equipment preferred (GE X-ray systems, digital imaging)

    Experience with Meditech documentation system and PACS/digital imaging workflow is a plus

    Responsibilities

    Perform general x-ray procedures and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients of all ages

    Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging equipment—primarily GE systems and digital PACS

    Demonstrate proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and infection control practices

    Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech and hospital records

    Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care

    Provide compassionate patient support and clear communication throughout the imaging experience

    Float to other units within the Imaging Services department as needed (CT/X-ray crossover and support)
