    Key Accountabilities
    • Diagnose and treat various health conditions, recommending personalized treatment plans.
    • Deliver exceptional patient care without bias or prejudice.
    • Maintain accurate and timely medical records using standardized coding systems.
    • Participate in after-hours call coverage as part of our team-based approach.
    • Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and guidelines for managed care organizations and payors.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and maintain certification/board eligibility.
    • Pursue non-revenue generating activities that align with our Vision and Mission, such as committee work, community outreach, teaching, research, and more.
    • Collaborate in responding to requests for proposals for managed care contracts.
    • Contribute to establishing quality assurance programs, utilization management programs, patient education services, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
    • Support Employer in obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses, permits, and authorizations, as well as achieving accreditation standards.

    Supervisory/Management Responsibility
    This is a non-management position reporting directly to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

    Minimum Requirements
    • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
    • Completion of residency program and board certification or eligibility.

    Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses
    • South Carolina Medical License.
    • South Carolina Controlled Substance License.
    • Drug Enforcement Agency Number.

    Other Required Skills and Experience
    • Basic computer proficiency.
    • Familiarity with office equipment (fax/copier).
    • Specialty-specific skills.

    Work Shift and Location
    Variable shift, reporting to 115 N Sumter St, Sumter.
