    We are going through our inshell sizing machines at this time and the large drums that we take out of each machine can weigh over 100 pounds. A person on each side to lift up and out of the machines while standing on ladders

    Job Summary

    We are looking for individual to join our client's team as Production Operator. You will assist in the daily operations of the plant, primarily in the operation of grain processing equipment. A position reporting to the Supervisor, Production Manager, or Plant Superintendent.

    Job Description

    • Must be responsible for cleaning, operating, and adjusting any machinery assigned by supervisor
    • Must keep assigned area of the plant clean and properly maintained at all times
    • Must be able to take direction from supervisor
    • May have to assist the supervisor in training new personnel
    • Must coordinate PTO with supervisor
    • Must be able to process samples for machine adjustment at determined intervals
    • Must follow all food safety rules
    • Must follow all plant safety rules
    • Any other duties assigned by supervisor

    Skills Required

    • This job requires special skills and duties assigned particularly to the processing of grain equipment. By having the necessary knowledge of equipment capacities, quality factors, and customer's requirements, maximum plant efficiencies will be attained. A good line of communication is also necessary to inform other employees of possible problems, ideas, repairs, or just general production information.
    • The Machine Operator must be flexible as the production demands are not always the same and he may be assigned to another area of production.

    Additional Requirements

    • 1 person for B-shift, hours are 3:00pm to 11:00pm
    • 1 person for C-shift, hours are 11:00pm to 7:00am
