- Minimum requirement of High School Diploma or GED.
- CPSW minimum (associate degree in counseling is preferred).
- Must have and maintain a current, valid NM Driver's License if responsible for transporting clients or running errands for the Center. Must also have and maintain a clean driving record, as well as auto insurance.
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certification card on file.

Job DescriptionDescription:SUMMARY:
The Recovery Advocate Supervisor is responsible for enhancing and improving client and alumni engagement with Santa Fe Recovery Center in all of the Residential, Recovery House, and Bridge Houses. Under the direction of the Director of Client Experience and Engagement, the Recovery Advocate Supervisor will provide a wide range of support for current clients and client alumni including developing, coordinating, and promoting programs and projects to engage recovering individuals through the common bonds of recovery support.
In addition, the Recovery Advocate Supervisor will help with some case management, information and referrals, personal advocacy, facilitating support groups, conducting wellness activities, and forms of emotional support. The Recovery Advocate Supervisor will work collaboratively with SFRC staff, partnering organizations, and local and state service providers and networks. Requires ability to engage with clients in daily activities and provide recovery support for individuals receiving treatment in the Residential Programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate recovery meetings for people in the residential facilities (both on our campus and off campus).
1. Facilitate groups focused on recovery in all the programs.
2. Plan and facilitate experiential therapy groups.
3. Work with clinical team to build curriculum around life skill and experiential therapies.
4. Supervise and coach Recovery Advocates.
5. Work with Residential Associate Supervisors to train staff on peer approach to client experience & engagement.
6. Build and maintain the Alumni Association.
7. Establish and maintain alumni support tools.
8. Coach and counsel on the meaning of abstinence: Not using while growing, developing, and building a happy life, long-term.
9. Teach by example: Plays an active role in recovery.
10. Educate the participants on behavioral health, promoting healthy resources, and daily skills training to provide the highest quality person-centered care.
11. Promote healthy living to current and former clients of SFRC.
12. Uphold participant confidentiality in accordance with company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
13. Maintain case files and other required documentation according to agency policies.
14. Liaison with community services to assist the client with identified goals and needs.
15. Liaison with family, friends, partners, and outside resources to create a supportive environment and ensure continuity of care.
16. Manage any grants associated with alumni programming or clients transitioning out of treatment.
17. Implements outreach initiatives through the utilization of community engagement and evidence-based or innovative, evidence-informed models.
18. Works along with SFRC case managers and follow-up program manager to link clients together with SFRC Community Alumni.
19. Assists admissions team to ensure all participating clients are utilizing applicable benefits to pay for services.
20. Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
