*PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Vincent's in Birmingham is looking for a Board-certified/Board-eligible Gastroenterologist to work as a Full-time GI Hospitalist within Ascension Medical Group.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascensionto provide medical services to patients.

Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.

Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

Acts as attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.

Full spectrum general adult gastroenterology (18 & older)
ERCP and EUS training is ideal, not required


Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Licensed Graduate Doctoral Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
