Overview

Machine slabs for glass, latch, lock and site bores based off production tickets. Multi tasker with good organizational skills for managing stock and specials.

Responsibilities

•Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines

•Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion

•Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

•Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager

•Maintain a safe and clean work environment

•Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to organize and maintain detailed records
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task
• Ability to read tape measure to 1/32" inch and understand bill of materials
• Basic computer skills & Common hand tool usage
• CNC Machine, door and glass knowledge, Weber gun
• Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs.

•Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid disruptions in production and customer service

•Follow all operational and safety SOP's as written

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred not required
• 5+ Years in the field or related area
