    We are actively hiring a DevOps Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our team working in McLean, VA.

    The DevOps Engineer will provide an array of skills within the DevOps discipline.

    The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with proven success in supporting a combination of scalable data platforms, business intelligence, analytics, data science, and data products that manage large data sets.

    They should have examples of successfully coordinating, deploying, and managing code changes with various project contributors and resources.

    In addition to embodying a passion for continuous improvement and innovation, an effective candidate will thrive in a dynamic Agile environment with minimal supervision.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Work with a team to build, automate, and deploy Kubernetes clusters for containerized soft-ware solutions to support mission critical applications
    Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
    Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software systems and application issues
    Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, analysts, project managers, and other engineers
    Provide recommendations for continuous improvement
    Available for off-hour deployments and system maintenance
    REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
    Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
    Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
    At least five (5) years of related development/DevOps experience

    Demonstrated experience in a combination of the following:
    Experience with Amazon Cloud Services (AWS)/Cloud to Service (C2S) solutions
    Linux server administration and web application support
    Documentation in source code and project management repositories (e.g. Git, Jira, Confluence)

    PREFERRED SKILLS
    MySQL and other non-relational databases such as Elasticsearch
