    Description

    Perimeter Behavioral of the Ozarks in Springdale, Arkansas has an immediate opening for a Mental Health Technician/Youth Care Worker Shift differential is offered for evening and overnight shifts in addition to the base hourly rate.

    Perimeter Behavioral of the Ozarks, Springdale, Arkansas was established to provide residential treatment services to girls ages 6-17.

    We are a therapeutic residential facility focusing on the needs of girls who have endured traumatic life events involving abuse or other aggressive assaults/incidents.

    Our Mental Health Technician responsibilities include some of the following:
    Care for our patients daily by assessing behavior, escorting them, and interacting with them continuously throughout the shift.
    Conduct direct observation rounds during assigned shift and document patient's behavior.

    • Orient the patients to the unit and assist them with daily living skills.
    • Training will be provided.
    Qualifications for the Mental Health Technician should include the following:
    It is preferred to have educational or work experience in psychology, human service, nursing, or social work environments.

    Experience:
    At least one (1) year of related experience in a assisted living, residential, or hospital setting


    Schedule:
    If working full time, must be able to work a rotation of 4 days on/2 days off.
