    Job Description
    BAE Systems is searching for an experienced Material Acquisition Specialist to join our team in supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (DoD HPCMP), and Stennis Space Center (NAVY).

    BAE Systems provides program management and technical support necessary to advance services, capabilities, infrastructure, and technologies.

    This opportunity will be mainly remote but will require employee to be onsite at least once per month.

    Responsibility includes:
    • Provide administrative support to the HITS-U II Program Site Lead and employees on the contract.
    • Receive purchasing information from the Technical Lead and submit it to BAE Purchasing. Receive quotes back from BAE Purchasing and prepare a purchase request for submittal to the government customer. Track and report all purchase requests to ensure their completion, up to and including the purchase orders being sent out.
    • Prepare and compile information from System administrators in order to do the weekly On Call rotation reporting and other administrative office matters as needed.
    • Prepare and deliver budget and procurement reports, including a monthly Purchase Request to Purchase Order Reconciliation and weekly Current Available Funding by Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) and SubCLINs
    • Establish, maintain, and systematically organize a variety of records, documents, files and/or technical data using general office software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat as needed. Review written material for completeness accuracy, and/or proper preparation.
    • Provide administrative support to management in order to help support and meet the objectives of the contract set forth by our government customer.
    • Understand, provide leadership and assist management and employees with any timecard issues/concerns, travel and training requirements and company policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate and work with team members on making sure all company policies and procedures are adhered, also assist security personnel with local on-site visit notices as needed.
    • Interface and manage good working relationships with government customer, contractors, and sub-contractors.
    • Display professional, courtesy, good communication, efficient and quality work habits, while performing any administrative duties and/or tasks as deemed necessary by management and government customer.
    • Recommend solutions for problems or unique situations to Site Lead and Technical Lead as requested.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Reliable in respect of quality and timeliness of deliverable items
    • Careful and organized approach to tasks
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Experience with HPC systems.
    • Training in asset management systems or other databases

    Pay Information
    Full-Time Salary Range: $ $109530

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
