    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    As an Embedded Developer at BlueHalo, you'll harness your expertise in Research, Software Engineering, and Networking within an Agile framework to create vital mission tools. Your role extends from in-depth research and development in C, C++, and Assembly, to active involvement in testing phases and clear communication with your team and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform embedded development, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, software development, and operational support to address complex national challenges.
    • Apply expertise in C/C++ development, Java development, and reverse engineering, along with automated unit testing in Python; develop capabilities in assembly, research existing functionality, and rapidly adapt to new technologies.
    • Provide robust support to the test team during component and system testing and engage in thorough protocol analysis.

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 6+ years of experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
    • Six (6) or more years of Software Engineering experience using C, C/C++, or other proprietary languages.
    • Four (4) or more years of experience with embedded platforms (Linux, Unix, Android, VxWorks).
    • Knowledge of Software System Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, and/or Testing .
    • Development experience with Virtual Environments (VMWare/ESXi, Open Stack, Open vSwitch, QEMU).
    • Experience with Software Reverse Engineering and/or debugging tools, such as IDAPro, OllyDbg, gdb, etc.
    • Familiarity with assembly languages (development or reversing).
    • Knowledge of low level, systems programming concepts.
