We are a global sustainable food ingredients company with more than 80 manufacturing sites in the USA.

We are on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Permanent EH&S Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of safety and well-being throughout our organization.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in EH&S, risk assessment, occupational health, safety management, and industrial hygiene.

Experience in the food manufacturing sector is a plus.

Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the EH&S programs in line with the company's goals and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines.

Provide guidance and training to staff on health and safety protocols.
Prepare comprehensive reports on EH&S performance for the plant manager and senior management.
Promote a positive safety culture within the organization through communication, training, and accountability.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification is preferred.
Excellent understanding of risk assessment and management principles.
Experience in policy development and implementation.
Proven ability to conduct training and awareness programs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EH&S management systems.
Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.
