    Job Position: Production Manager

    Job Location: Dallas Texas

    This is a summary outline of the responsibilities required for the Production Manager. This description may be modified as determined appropriate to meet changing business needs.

    Oversees all Production activities, including prebuild shipping and receiving materials or goods, maintaining inventory levels. The purpose of the position is to lead the production, warehouse and QC team and manage resources and timeline efficiently.

    • Executes the daily production schedule maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure products conform to established customer and company quality standards.
    • Achieve optimum productivity and employee efficiency levels with the least amount of overhead and raw material costs.
    • Direct and monitor the team to accomplish goals of the production schedule, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures.
    • Hire, train, develop and evaluate staff.
    • Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Ensure compliance with current federal, state and local regulations.
    • Coordinate with HR to establish appropriate staffing levels, training processes, daily direct labour metrics, safety root cause analysis process, and employee events
    • Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost. Direct the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards.
    • Implements various programs essential to manufacturing procedures (e.g., 5S, training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc.).
    • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.

    We are looking for candidates that have

    • Experience working with manufacturing, processes,
    • Confident, independent action, initiative, and a sense of urgency
    • Ability to react and quickly adjust to changing conditions at a faster-than-average pace
    • Knowledge of process improvement, manufacturing engineering, and related fields
    • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Ability to interact collaboratively with others
    • 5 to 8 years experience in manufacturing management, preferably in process-oriented operations and/or related industries.
    • 3 years of people management/leadership experience.
