    Summerlin Hospital is a 485-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Childrens Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, womens health and oncology care.

    Summerlin Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center and has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines program.

    (Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs, and facilitates nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes. This position supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission, and goals. This position provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Minimum of one-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care specialty nursing. Knowledgeable and experienced in stress testing is preferred.
    ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire).

    Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
