    Responsibilities:


    The Scheduling Lead, Medical Group will assist HarmonyCares Medical Group schedulers in the management and delivery of daily operations within the scheduling function.

    The Lead Scheduler will collaborate with Central Operations, Community Outreach and Patient Engagement Teams.

    This role is a member of the regional scheduling teams, assisting in the creation, delivery, and monitoring of standard scheduling function operations, policy, and procedures.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Assists to develop, maintain, and monitor standard policies, procedures, onboarding and training materials

    Provides a point of escalation to address scheduling concerns, complaints, and issues, both internally and externally

    Supports new team members through onboarding and training processes

    Identifies areas of quality and execution gaps for all team members and ensure appropriate remediation through coaching and feedback

    Collaborates with manager, teammates, and other HarmonyCares leaders to identify and implement changes that optimize the organization

    Supports and encourages teammates by fostering open communication channels as well as role modeling best practices

    Attends required meetings and in-services

    Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) or representative for other departmental projects as directed by regional leadership

    Perform the scheduler role for the field office as assigned

    Maintains patient confidentiality

    Performs other duties as assigned


    Qualifications:
    Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    High School Diploma/GED

    Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record

    Active CPR Certificate

    1-2 years of experience in customer service

    Knowledge of practice protocols to assist in scheduling patients for care

    Skill in maintaining department quality assurance and control standards

    Computer skills and ability to learn new systems

    Ability to adapt and apply guidelines and procedures

    Skill in teamwork and maintaining relationships with patients, caregivers and co-workers

    Critical thinker that can balance scheduling protocols and market needs to maximize patient access

    Ability to work at a computer screen for an extended period of time

    Able to travel up to 20% of the time
