Social Worker (LCSW) – Behavioral Health | 13-Week Contract | 40 HRS Guaranteed
Cumming, GA 30041
Shift: Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (8-Hour Evenings)
Department: Hospital Based

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a Hospital-Based Behavioral Health (BHS) setting in Cumming, GA.
This role focuses on providing psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and care coordination for patients in an acute care hospital environment.
Ideal candidates will have strong experience in hospital case management, behavioral health, psychiatric social work, and acute care discharge planning.
Required Qualifications:
Active Georgia LCSW License (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Minimum 2+ years Hospital-Based Social Work experience
Experience in Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Services
Strong documentation & interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychosocial assessments
Provide crisis intervention and counseling
Coordinate discharge planning & community resources
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff & case management
Ensure compliance with hospital and state regulations
