    Purpose of this position:
    Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Performs limited network maintenance.

    Essential Functions:
    45% - Install, maintain, setup, troubleshoot and configure PCs, laptops, printers and peripherals.
    15% - Perform imaging system administration.
    10% - Open/Close and update work history via the Helpdesk application.
    10% - Backup/Restore user profiles and data.
    10% - Document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software.
    5% - Adhere to naming standards and labeling of all assets.
    5% - Adhere to Helpdesk standards and procedures to ensure priorities and goals are met.

    Scope Indicators:

    Decision Making/Discretion:
    Prioritizes tasks for completion. Performs no direct supervision.

    Results:
    Supports a production environment. Analyzes, resolves and reports on helpdesk related issues. Must be able to weigh business needs and prioritize workload and articulate issues to management. Errors in
    judgment will result in very significant production issues and/or downtime.

    Strategy Development:
    Analyzes network and PC issues to determine courses of action for resolution.

    Required/Preferred Skills:

    Education/Training:

    • Associates Degree in Information Technology area or equivalent work experience.
    • Three (3) or more years' experience maintaining and repairing computers.
    • Advanced skills in: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Outlook, SAP, Antivirus.


    • Proficiency in Office36

    • Windows 10 proficiency.
    • Good understanding of networking principles.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

    • A+ Certification.


    • Preferred

    • Windows Microsoft Certified Professional.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Occasionally required to lift heavy objects (up to 100lbs) such as servers and other related equipment.
    • Must be able to walk for long periods from building to building to replace or install PC hardware and software.

    Shift:
    Either 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm but flexibility to help with coverage on other shifts.
