    Description


    The role of the Reliability Engineer is to disassemble and inspect failed ESP components to identify exactly what failed and why it failed.

    Provide dismantle findings with supporting photos to determine root cause of failure.

    Provide a detailed report of the failed ESP components.

    When appropriate provide recommendations for correcting or preventing the problem from reoccurring. Communicate findings to appropriate sales or account manager.

    Coordinate with Sales group on timing and scheduling of dismantles with customer interface. Follow Extract's policies on HSE policies to insure everyone's safety during the dismantle process.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Gather and analyze data from installation/pull reports, well production/performance, monitoring reports and equipment tests.

    Provide recommendations based on analysis to improve equipment operations.

    Provide timely detailed factual reports of the DIFA

    Communicate with Sales group on DIFA findings.

    Follow company guidelines and procedures on dismantle failure analysis

    Communicate with the shop on improving the quality of our equipment and operations.

    Communicate and interface with Engineering

    Excellent communications skills

    Interface with customers and consultants

    Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    Make sure the shop/equipment are clean and organized before conducting the DIFA.

    Make sure all employees and customers are wearing proper PPE during the dismantle process.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline (Quality, Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing)

    Ability to pass a background and drug screen


    At lease one (1) year related experience in or a proven aptitude to learn the role based on experience in the ESP industry in assembly, quality, or field operations.

    Fluent in both oral and written English

    Solid technical writing skills and power point presentations.

    Strong computer skills
