Job description
I run a construction company and need an automation built to process handwritten timesheet photos into JobTread.We process ~8 timesheets per day. Photos are uploaded to Google Drive.
The system should use proper OCR (Google Document AI, Azure, Mindee — not ChatGPT) to extract key fields (4-digit Job ID, date, crew names, start/end times, notes), validate the data, and then automatically:
Create time entries in JobTread
Create a Daily Log
Attach the original image
Enable client visibility
Low-confidence or invalid data must be routed to a review folder (no guessing).
This is a fixed-scope automation project using Zapier/Make + API integration. Build must be done in my accounts and include documentation and a walkthrough.
If you've built similar OCR + automation workflows, please briefly describe one.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
