    Tri-Mation has a great opportunity for an experienced Controls Engineer who has led projects and teams, with experience in the automated industry.

    You need to have a collaborative mindset to work with other teams throughout the customer project including project management, mechanical engineering, design, and assembly.

    Your work will include creating flow charts and other documents at the start of the project for customer approval.

    As the machine is built, you'll set up and commission devises; test and debug programs, making improvements; and then be onsite for installation and run offs.

    You may also need to train the customer's operators on the operation and maintenance of the machine.


    The ideal candidate must have:
    1) Work experience in the automated industry or controls programming; preferably in automated or robotic machinery; 2) Work experience in PLC programming with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi and/or ProFace; 3) Strong skills in prioritizing time and resources, communication, handling multiple projects, troubleshooting; 4) A self-starter and self-motivated who is a team player and thrives in a fast paced and changing work environment; 5) Valid driver's license; 6) Travel up to 20%; same day and overnight; may have occasional international travel

    Additional experience preferred:
    1) Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; 2) Python and structured text experience, understand machine building practices; 3) Experience in CAD drafting; 4) Solid experience in the programming of serial and network communication interfaces.
