    Description

    The ideal candidate for outside sales representative will be self-motivated, self starter, technical and bring their A-game to work each day. The individual must possess a professional attitude, positive attitude, ability to call on multiple level with in organization, sales and negotiation skills, be results-oriented, team builder, result oriented, demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess a mindset for continuous improvement. Ability to open the door and close orders are the key skills candidate must have. Understanding of VFD's and industrial automation is preferable.

    Skills and Capabilities:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in traditional and non-traditional markets by selecting solutions, products, and services for customer applications within defined product and system scope.
    • Expert at presenting the Vision, Values, "Corporate Presentation" and all product information and benefits in the most professional and compelling fashion.
    • Achieving assigned sales targets and metrics.
    • Prospecting and developing new client relationships within a defined geography or market.
    • Effective cold call and use the phone to gain interest and secure appointments.
    • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
    • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
    • Develop territory action plan to grow business.
    • Identify and resolve client concerns.
    • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
    • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
    • Maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
    • Consulting with clients on needs and business objectives.
    • Provide the sales team with the information and support needed to present Amtech Drives products in a competitive market place.
    • Maintains a level of technical competency to meet the changing needs of the industry.
    • Coordinate/attend customer factory visits and Sales training.
    • Assist Product Management in the development of Technical White Papers, application specific publications, lectures, and PPT presentations that promote the technical aspects of our products.
    • Maintain direct contact with key accounts to assist in sales growth and problem resolution.
    • Evaluate market conditions and prepare sales plans and forecasts for target customers within product and systems scope

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience in sales of industrial products like Low voltage(480v) VFD, Motors, Switch Gears, and components in south east region
    • Strong analytical skills relating to developing solutions for customers motion control needs
    • Must have excellent time management skills to maximize daily, weekly, and monthly customer and prospect contacts.
    • Strategic thinker, able to develop account strategies and communicate them internally to the organization.
    • Able to build/develop professional relationships.
    • Familiarity with Zoho or other Contact Sales Management (CRM) system.
    • Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Needs to be computer proficient: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
    • Ability to research and utilize web information for customer background and prospect generation.
    • Professional sales skills (PSS or B2B training would be an advantage).
    • Ability to communication complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical people.
    • External relationships include: rep firms, customers, consulting and specifying engineers, standards organizations (e.g. UL, IEEE, ANSI), vendors, suppliers, professional organizations.
    • Proficient working knowledge of software tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required for the creation of effective sales proposals and technical presentations.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills a must for success in this position.
    • Strong customer relationship skills
