    Operations General Description:
    Under the supervision of the Director of Operations/Administrator provides overall supervision of all House activities. Responsibilities include scheduling, staffing, budget compliance, ordering of supplies, survey compliance, nursing services, and medical records.

    Interacts and engages residents throughout the day to provide a person-centered care environment that is safe, clean, and/or meaningful for each resident and their families.

    Provides leadership and direction for activities, as well as general supervision and oversight to caregivers.

    Understands that all behaviors have meaning and directs staff in a positive and creative manner to maximize residents' comfort and safety.

    Ensures meals are prepared and served in accordance with Dolan policies and practices. Complies with Residents' Rights Policy.


    Health Services:
    Directs Caregivers in the Performance of basic duties.
    Maintains clinical records and ensures that records are complete and accurate.

    Ensure the safety and security of all residents and their belongingsResponsible for the ordering of medication and compliance with the medication administration system.

    Keep the Director of Operations informed of changes or residents' condition, family concerns, or changes in status.
    Maintains and actively communicates with residents' physicians for benefit of residents.

    Coordinates with other departments when a resident is in very poor health or at risk for complications and must be monitored closely to ensure adequate care.


    Food Services:
    Ensure that staff follows house procedures and state regulations in the preparation and service of meals.
    Orders food and supplies biweekly.
    Directs and supervises care partners in the performance of their duties.
    Maintains all documentation concerning menus, changes, recipes, tray cards, etc.
    Ensures all food storage is in compliance with all regulatory agencies.


    General:
    Practice and promote positive person-centered care and customer service with residents and families.
    Develops and implements care based on residents' ISP and life stories. Promotes engagement with residents and families in a positive and professional manner while supporting person-centered care.
    Maintains time cards and ensures their accuracy for payroll.
    Expected to meet with and discipline staff using the guidelines in the policy and procedure book.
    Expected to handle staffing issues and ensure that the house is staffed.
    Communicates with administrative assistant to order t-shirts and office supplies.
    Documents in the communication book.
    Attends and provides staff training sessions. Ensures that staff attends the monthly in-services.
    Attends manager meetings once a month.
    Makes regular rounds with care partners to ensure resident well-being and safety.
    Responsible for all forms, documents, and charting required for admissions, transfers, and discharges. Additional duties as directed by the Director of Operations.

    If the event the employee would be asked to use their vehicle or ride in a vehicle in connection with their position seat belts is to be worn at all times while riding or driving.

    Illegal drug-free, smoke and alcohol-free while on-premises and duty.
    Stealing of any kind, from the resident, company, associates, and or visitors is strictly prohibited.

    All facilities are weapon-free zones, including but not limited to guns, knives, or any other device which may cause harm.


    Qualifications:
    RN or LPN license in good standingFirst Aide & CPR certified.

    Ability to follow and provide written and verbal instructions.1-year positive work experience in a supervisory capacity.3+ years' work experience in nursing and geriatric care.

    Experience with residents diagnosed with dementia or memory loss issues.
    Willing and able to work non-traditional hours periodically based on the resident care needs and staffing.
    Physically able to lift 50 lbs. or greater, stoop, bend, squat. Must be able to stand/walk for 8 to 12 hours.
