Description
We currently have a contract opportunity for a Video Platforms Product Manager to lend specific subject matter knowledge to a client engagement.
Media pipeline creation of the architecture that generates or priocesses media data
Develop a hierarchical agile backlog with Epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria meeting business objectives
Confirm new features' functionality post-UAT and prior to deployment in production and address identified issues in the system agile backlog
Maintain a data dictionary detailing field-level information for applicable systems, emphasizing how users categorize fields into business data objects
Remote contract (LA area preferred) with 6 month duration with possibile contract extension

Qualifications
Nuanced understanding of the different encoding technologies (Transcoding)
Familiar with FFMPEG (open-source software project for video, audio and multimedia files and streams); Understanding software technologies like CLIPSTER 5, CLIPSTER 6
Experience with digital compression requirements; cloud native platform experience
Robust understanding of video formats, specifications, and emerging filmmaking/postproduction technologies
Strong product background especially with writing user stories and defining robust acceptance criter
The expected pay rate range for this contract is $95 to $115 per hour. Exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
