The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis, Health System located in Sacramento, California, seeks to hire a full time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Health Science Clinical, Clinical X, or In-Residence series.
UC Davis is a large volume Level I Trauma Hospital with an NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and a Level I Children's Surgical Center.
The candidate selected is expected to engage in the teaching and practice of plastic and reconstructive surgery of plastic and reconstructive surgery of patients with facial wounds, congenital deformities and/or breast reconstructive needs; microsurgery, and basic science/translational research trials relating to reconstructive surgery and clinical outcomes.
All candidates must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment and must acquire a California Medical License before the start date.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Must be board certified or board eligible in Plastic Surgery and any subspecialty surgical services.
Must acquire a CA Medical License before the appointment start date
Fellowship training is highly preferred
Understanding of plastic and reconstructive surgery of patients with facial wounds, congenital deformities and/or breast reconstructive needs, microsurgery, and basic science/translational research trials relating to reconstructive surgery and clinical outcomes
